Welcome to Rhyme Island, a youth rap initiative for Cruinniú na nÓg 2024 powered by GMCBeats and the Kabin Studio, in collaboration with Creative Ireland.
They are on a mission to empower young people across the island of Ireland to voice their thoughts, dreams and stories through the dynamic mediums of rap, songwriting, and video.
The Rhyme Island Roadshow is bringing rap workshops to young people in diverse communities across Ireland. And, as we build up to Rock the Block on 15 June, we'll be unveiling the songs and videos created during these workshops, spotlighting the exceptional talent of our young participants.
They will be dropping on the Rhyme Island YouTube channel!
Rock the Block
The pinnacle of the journey is the Rock the Block Festival in Cork City on Cruinniú na nÓg. Join the crew for a vibrant day brimming with music, rap showcases, and workshops in Knocknaheeny in partnership with Music Generation Cork City.
Join us in embracing the power of rap and immerse yourself in the Rhyme Island experience. Remember, rap is for everyone! Let's amplify our voices and make some noise together!!
