Celebrity MasterChef, 8.00pm, BBC One

In the first of finals week, the five remaining celebrities are challenged to put their own twist on a dish inspired by a well-known chef.

After scrutinising their creations, judges John Torode and Greg Wallace will pick one contestant to leave the competition. The final four take charge of lunch service on the famous British Pullman train.

Trump's Heist: The President Who Wouldn't Lose, 9.00pm, Channel 4

Here's something that won't go down too well with the MAGA headbangers out there.

This is part one of a two-part documentary examining the ways in which former US President Donald Trump (above) attempted to steal the 2020 presidential election.

It includes input from former Trump supporters including his Attorney General, Vice President Mike Pence's Chief of Staff and the White House Head of Communications.

The Sky Arts Awards, 9.00pm, Sky Arts

This is the inaugural Sky Arts Awards, taking place in at The Roundhouse in London.

Building on the legacy of the South Bank Sky Arts Awards, the Sky Arts Awards is apparently the only event in the world that recognises the full spectrum of artistic genres, including classical music, comedy, dance, film, literature, poetry, opera, popular music, television, theatre and visual art.

A number of Irish nominees are included in the shortlist for this year’s awards, including Kneecap (above), Blindboy, and writer Paul Murray.

The event will also introduce the first of its kind 'Arts Hero’ category, honouring the unsung heroes whose efforts behind-the-scenes are integral to the success of the arts industry.

Nadiya's Cook Once, Eat Twice, 7.30pm, BBC Two

In this new series, chef Nadiya Hussain (below) demonstrates how to make a weekly shop stretch further with recipes that align with her 'cook once, eat twice' philosophy.

She creates a salad pasta using forgotten salad leaves, creamy yoghurt, fresh coriander, rehydrated apricots and home-made pasta.

The chef also cooks a carrot soup and beany potato cakes.

Turbulence: How Safe Is Your Flight? 9.00pm, Virgin Media One

Investigating the science of turbulence, its causes, effects, implications and if it can be predicted after severe turbulence.

That's what caused one death and 104 injuries aboard Singapore Airlines Flight SQ321 in May 2024.

Plus, is climate change having an impact when it comes to turbulent flights?

Designing the Hebrides, 7.00pm, BBC Two

As season 2 begins, interior designer Banjo Beale (below, left) and his team of tradespeople travel across the islands, using their skills in a series of makeovers.

Banjo starts out with the Puffer Pub on the tiny island of Easdale. Jhennia and Rachel quit their London life and moved to the island in 2022.

But raising a family and running a business has left them no time to renew the pub's old, tired interior.

Can the designer and his team come up with a finish that's both new and in keeping with the pub's unique charm?

A string of unhappy relationships has left 24-year-old Thalia with a phobia of kissing. Her date with 25-year-old Essex lad Jack date gets off to a great start after a discovery of a shared love of sharks.

Widower Tony is looking for someone to share his twilight years and is paired with the glamorous Lesley, a fellow East Ender. However, a surprising differing of political opinions threatens to derail their date.

Baz Ashmawy travels to Paris where he meets Ruth Algar from Westmeath, content creator Mandy Cherie from Donegal; and business owner Rebecca Devaney from Dublin.

Baz visits the suburbs of Paris to meet Ruth Algar, who left Mullingar for France to work as an au pair when she was just 23.

Ruth reminisces about her very successful athletics career in Ireland and then France and introduces Baz to one of her daughters who is a well known actress and comedian in France.

In central Paris with the Eiffel Tower as their backdrop Baz and 26-year-old Donegal native, content creator Mandy Cherie strike a pose (see above).

Baz also meets former haute couture embroiderer Rebecca Devaney who runs Textile Tours of Paris. She brings Baz on a tour of St Ouen Flea Market, where he gets to grips with Parisian style.
