The Late Late Show announces guests for Friday night

The Late Late Show has announced the line-up for this Friday night's show, with four-time Oscar nominee Saoirse Ronan among the guests joining host Patrick Kielty.

Fresh from the Emmy red carpet, Ronan will be talking about her new film The Outrun, based on the best-selling memoir of the same name by Amy Liptrot.

She will share what drew her to this story of addiction and recovery and why she can now add 'lambing' to her list of special skills.

Snow Patrol's Gary Lightbody, Johnny McDaid and Nathan Connolly will sit down with Kielty to talk about their brand-new album The Forest is the Path.

The band will perform a new song from the album as well as a huge hit from their back-catalogue.

Also coming up, presenter Rylan Clarke will be appearing in the studio to discuss his new Paramount+ series Dating Naked UK.

He will speak about his TV and radio career since becoming a household name on The X-Factor in 2012 and why he is basically an Irish man.

And New Zealand-born, Irish rugby player Bundee Aki will sit down with Kielty to speak about becoming an Irish citizen this week, his rugby career, playing for Connacht and more.
