Netflix has announced it will show a Sabrina Carpenter Christmas special featuring duets and comedy performances.

A Nonsense Christmas With Sabrina Carpenter will be the 25-year-old's first Christmas show and will see her perform songs from her festive EP, Fruitcake, along with other seasonal songs.

There will also be special guests to perform "unexpected" duets and comedy routines.

Speaking about the Christmas special, Carpenter said: "The holidays have always been so special to me.

"I am excited to bring my take to a classic holiday variety show – infusing my love of music and comedy to make something that is uniquely me."
