Ant & Dec's Limitless Win, 7.30pm, Virgin Media One

It’s Season 4 of the quiz hosted by telly’s ultimate dynamic duo in which contestants get the chance to win a huge cash prize with a limitless jackpot.

First up are sisters and best friends Tina and Tracy, who take on the Limitless Ladder in an emotional game that brings tears to the eyes of Ant and Dec.

They’re followed by childhood sweethearts Bianca and Ky, who hope their approach will help propel them into the truly life-changing sums of money on the ladder.

The Battle for Black Music: Paid in Full, 9.25pm, BBC Two

Who Stole the Soul? is the opening episode in this new documentary series exploring the systemic racism faced by black artists in the music industry from its inception to the digital streaming age.

The first instalment delves into the stories of trailblazing artists including Nina Simone and Billie Holiday, who used their music to challenge societal norms.

It also confronts the harsh realities faced by legends such as Bessie Smith, Little Richard and Chuck Berry, who struggled for fair compensation despite their groundbreaking contributions to popular music.

Cyndi Lauper: Live at Last, 9.00pm, Sky Arts

Twenty years after She's So Unusual made her an icon, Cyndi Lauper's Live . . . At Last captures an intimate night at New York's Town Hall in 2004, featuring dramatically reworked renditions of her hits from Girls Just Want to Have Fun to True Colors.

They really should've called this Korea Opportunities.

The band enter their final week of training in South Korea and have to perform for two very different audiences.

First up is a crowd of 700 dignitaries at the British Embassy as part of King Charles's birthday celebrations.

Then their toughest audience yet, a group of eager K-pop fans who are ready to pass judgement on Blaise, Dexter, James, Olly and Reese.

What will they make of the pop world's newest band?

Saturday Cinema

The Big Sleep, 1.10pm, BBC Two

I can't think of a much better way to pass a Saturday afternoon on the sofa.

This is a classic hardboiled detective tale from 1946 adapted from the novel by Raymond Chandler, starring Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall (below), John Ridgely and Dorothy Malone.

Private eye Philip Marlowe is hired to track down the blackmailers hounding a socialite who is now reaping the consequences of her own sexual indiscretions.

But his inquiries start to unravel in a complicated intrigue involving jealousy, murder and extortion.

Parallel Mothers, 10.00pm, BBC Four

Pedro Almodóvar’s highly acclaimed 2021 drama, starring Penelope Cruz and Milena Smit, that looks at Spain’s recent history in a particular way.

Expectant mothers Janis and Ana meet by chance at hospital as they prepare to deliver their first children.

The two women approach their birth with very different mindsets but the same happy resolution. A bond is formed and Janis and Ana continue to support each other.

Naturally enough, it’s in Spanish.

Family Flick

Animated comedy adventure, with the voices of Danny McBride, Maya Rudolph, Abbi Jacobson and Olivia Colman.

A quirky, dysfunctional family's road trip is upended when they find themselves in the middle of a robot apocalypse and suddenly become humanity's unlikeliest last hope.

Sport

It’s Munster v Connacht (KO 5.30pm) in the opening round of URC fixtures, held at Thomond Park.

Munster topped the table during the regular season last term and went on to reach the semi-finals, while Connacht failed to reach the play-offs.

But honours were even in meetings between the sides, with Munster (above) prevailing 20-15 at home and Connacht winning 22-9 at Dexcom Stadium.
