Speaking about the track, Eve, who hails from a small town Germany but found her musical home in Dublin says, "June Moon is about the state of constant vertigo you may find yourself in after a break-up. It's about carrying grief with you still yet acknowledging that some things are better off ending.

"It’s about crying your eyes out one second and downloading a dating app the next. The natural back and forth of moving on."

Since moving to Dublin, Eve has been an active part of the local live music scene, busking on Grafton Street and playing in venues such as Whelan’s, Sin É and the Workman's Club.

Tell us three things about yourself . . .

I love pesto cheese. I knew I wanted to move to Ireland from the first time I visited in 2019. My government name is Eva but only my parents and childhood/school friends call me by that name.

How would you describe your music?

Lyrics aiming for heartstrings and melodies that long to stay on your mind.

Who are your musical inspirations?

Jeff Buckley, Norah Jones and Angie McMahon. They all move in somewhat different genres, but they're all fantastic songwriters!

What was the first gig you ever went to?

It was a German band called Silbermond and I think I was around the age of nine? I remember it quite vividly, the feeling of the bass finding its way through the soles of my shoes and their fans singing the lyrics back at the band. Probably one of the early key moments that made me want to pursue music.

What was the first record you ever bought?

All I Ever Wanted by Kelly Clarkson.

What’s your favourite song right now?

Too many! Cutting it down, it's probably No One's Gonna Love You Like I Can by Laura Marling. Stunning.

Favourite lyric of all time?

"It's never over, all my riches for her smiles, when I slept so soft against her, It's never over, all my blood for the sweetness of her laughter, It's never over, she is the tear that hangs inside my soul forever" – Lover, You Should've Come Over by Jeff Buckley.

If you could only listen to one song for the rest of your life, what would it be?

I'd say Lover, You Should've Come Over but after careful consideration, I fear I'd cry my eyes out every day. Maybe Just Like North by Angie McMahon. For me, it's a song about acknowledging the hard times, yet putting them into perspective. There's a lyric in it that I've come to use as a mantra: If you get everything right, then there's nothing else left.

Where can people find your music/more information?

Just type in All Things Eve on the usual platforms, I'd love to hear from you!
