I'm from Clondalkin. I have a degree in mechanical engineering. I’m quite fond of bouldering.
How would you describe your music?
My music tends to combine elements from multiple different genres, primarily focusing on alternative pop and folk.
Who are your musical inspirations?
My musical inspirations vary day by day, changing depending on what I’m listening to. I always return bands like The National, Neutral Milk Hotel, and The Strokes, as well as singer-songwriters like Bob Dylan and Leonard Cohen.
What was the first gig you ever went to?
Rihanna in the o2 in Dublin in 2008, I went with my parents and my brother. Great gig from what I recall.
What was the first record you ever bought?
I believe it was either P.I.M.P. by 50 Cent, or Axel F. by Crazy Frog. Quite the range I had as a child. The first album I bought was The Eminem Show.
What’s your favourite song right now?
Right now, it’s got to be Favourite by Fontaines D.C.
Favourite lyric of all time/?
"Can’t believe how strange it is to be anything at all" - In The Aeroplane Over The Sea by Neutral Milk Hotel.
If you could only listen to one song for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Human Sadness by The Voidz.
