It is reported that Tim Roth has joined Cillian Murphy as part of the ensemble cast for the upcoming Peaky Blinders film.
US entertainment trade publication Deadline, which first reported Reservoir Dogs and Made in Britain star Roth's involvement, says there are no details of his character in the film.
Roth's casting follows the news that Barry Keoghan and Rebecca Ferguson are also part of the big-screen version of writer-creator Steven Knight's hit BBC crime drama.
Murphy and Roth previously starred together in the 2012 drama Broken.
The Peaky Blinders film is set during World War II.
It sees Tom Harper, who previously directed episodes in the first season of Peaky Blinders in 2013, back in the director's chair to tell the latest chapter in the life of crime boss Tommy Shelby (Murphy).
Deadline reports that production on the film "will begin before the year is out".
