"The Right Time is a message of hope for anyone who feels like they're stuck in a rut," says the Raheny man. "It’s about finding the courage to start over and believing that there’s always a reason to keep moving forward."

Tell us three things about yourself . . .

I’ve supported Damien Dempsey, Aslan and The 4 of Us and my Whelan’s show in October is sold out! My debut album is just finished and is coming out next year. My nickname is Milky!

How would you describe your music?

Indie!

Who are your musical inspirations?

Pink Floyd, The Beatles, Bowie and many more. Anything with a decent melody.

What was the first gig you ever went to?

What was the first record you ever bought?

Virtual Insanity - Jamiroquai.

What’s your favourite song right now?

I’ve been getting re-obsessed lately with You Get What You Give by New Radicals (Belter!)

Favourite lyric of all time?
