Industry, 11.10pm, BBC One

Season 3 of the HBO drama set in the full-on world of London's financial district sees former Game of Thrones star Kit Harington join the cast as Sir Henry Muck.

Fair to assume he's going to be a bit of a bad-ass with a name like that.

Tensions are high ahead of a new start-up business going public and Yasmin tries to defy people's assumptions of her.

Meanwhile, Robert fails to manage Lumi's CEO and Harper faces a brand-new reality

Episode two follows at 12.10am, Yasmin and Robert do everything they can to stabilise the Lumi share price after an erratic start to the day of the initial public offering.

Harper forms a new alliance at FutureDawn.

Storyville: War Game, 10.00pm, BBC Four

With the US presidential election just around the corner, many Americans are wondering what's going to happen after the results are announced.

This documentary promises to sweep viewers into an elaborate simulation which dramatically escalates the threat posed in the USA by the Capitol attack on 6 January 2021.

The film follows a group of US defence, intelligence and policy-makers as they participate in an unscripted role play exercise, as a fictional US president and his advisors confront a political coup back by rogue members of the military.

Twisted Twins, 9.00pm, UTV

Here’s a little twist in the TV murder tales genre – a documentary exploring the stories of identical twins involved in cases of murder, manslaughter or missing persons.

Lyn Dawson had been missing for more than 35 years when an investigative podcast led to the case being reopened and her husband Chris Dawson being accused of murder.

He had wanted to start a new life with his teenage lover, a relationship seemingly condoned by his identical twin Paul, who continues to support him to this day.

Opry an Iúir, 9.30pm, TG4

As season 14 of this country music series opens, host Daniel O'Donnell (below) is once more at the INEC at the Gleneagle in Killarney.

Mike Denver returns with a beautiful rendition of Gentle on my Mind, Jimmy Buckley takes to the stage to sing classic hits such as Seven Spanish Angels.

And from Missouri in the US Midwest, Barbara Fairchild performs her greatest hits including The Teddy Bear Song.

Living Every Second: The Kris Hallenga Story, 9.00pm, BBC Two

Diagnosed with Stage IV breast cancer at the tragically young age of 23, Kris Hallenga (below) made a radical decision about what she wanted to do with the rest of her life.

Together with her twin sister, Maren, Kris founded the Coppafeel charity, harnessing the power of her own experience to show millions of young people how to check for signs of cancer.

In 2013, Kris made a film about her life for the BBC and, over the decade that followed, continued to invite the cameras back.

This film reveals how her energy, drive and ambition has left an important legacy.

The Great British Bake Off, 8.00pm, Channel 4

Bake Off judges Prue Leith and Paul Hollywood

In biscuit week, the signature challenge sees the bakers making Viennese sandwich biscuits, before taking a nostalgic turn in the technical, as they recreate a retro minty family favourite.

Finally, the bakers take on a dramatic showstopper blending comedy and tragedy, as they craft their own biscuit puppet theatres.

In Switzerland, Baz Ashmawy (below) meets some friendly pooches at a doggy hotel run by Aileen Woulfe and her husband Ronan Fitzgerald.

He then travels to a neighbouring area, where he speaks to a Clondalkin couple, Sophie Shannon and Bartosz Guszul.

At teatime, Baz drops into Aileen Ryan Buhler's tearoom to hear from Limerick woman who has been living in Switzerland for the last 35 years.

Into the Jungle with Ed Stafford, 9.30pm, Channel 4

This time the dads and kids must forage for their evening meal, but the idea of eating live jungle creatures - including spiders - proves too much for some.

The next day, Ed promises the group a slap-up meal – with a catch. They can only have that feed if they can catch and kill it themselves.

Heading out to one of Belize's 200 island cays, the dads and kids must build rafts strong enough to take them out to sea to dive for lobsters but as a storm brews, events take a dramatic turn.

Nadiya's Cook Once, Eat Twice, 7.30pm, BBC Two

Nadiya Hussain (below) shares some more comfort food recipes, which not only spread joy at the weekend but also ease the strain during the coming week.

They include Middle Eastern-inspired roast chicken and chickpeas and a batch-cook beef stew with fluffy dumplings.

Plus, sisters Mandy and Coco Briden - who operate the UK's first deaf chef food truck - share their recipe for Yorkshire pudding wraps, ensuring that leftover Sunday roast and trimmings never go to waste.

Ending Today

Borders & Lies, 9.00pm, Virgin Media One

This two-part documentary wraps with a look at how social media was used to spread fear in Finglas and an examination of the build-up to the Dublin Riots.

Featuring locals in Newbridge, Rosslare Harbour and Dublin’s Inchicore.
