Pick of the Day

It's that time of the year again, where Late Late Show host Patrick Kielty brings together the biggest and brightest stars on the Irish country music scene.

Elsewhere, Lisa McHugh, Lee Matthews, Cliona Hagan and Sandy Kelly will showcase a host of tunes from chart topping hits to some old familiar classics.

Michael English and friends Chantelle Padden, Clodagh Lawlor, David James join together to celebrate country songs much loved the world over.

On the night, another star will be inducted into The Late Late Show Country Music Hall of Fame.

Also, there is a huge surprise for one unsuspecting Irish country fan.

The Cleaner, 9.30pm, BBC One

The dark comedy, starring Greg Davies, with Ben Willbond and Rosie Cavaliero, returns for a third season.

The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon - The Book of Carol, 9.00pm, Sky Max

The second season of the France-set zombie spin-off. Surely no one but dedicated Walking Dead fans are still watching?

The story picks up where season one left off, following Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus) and Carol Peletier (Melissa McBride).

They both confront old demons while she fights to find her friend and he struggles with his decision to stay in France, causing tension at the Nest.

Have I Got News for You, 9.00pm, BBC One

Back for yet another run, this panel show is still good for a giggle.

Queen: The Legendary 1975 Concert, 9.00pm, BBC Four

There are several classic gigs on BBC Four tonight, beginnong with Queen at London's Hammersmith Odeon on Christmas Eve 1975, featuring early singles including Liar, Keep Yourself Alive, Now I'm Here and Bohemian Rhapsody, as well as Brian May (below) showcasing his guitar skills on Brighton Rock.

Even better is The Undertones: Sight and Sound in Concert at 11.05pm, though it’s all about personal taste, eh?

I’m fortunate – and unfortunately old enough – to have seen The Undertones live in their early days. They were fantastic.

Here’s a rare sighting of a gig recorded at the Regal Theatre in Hitchin in 1983, towards the end of the band’s run with the original line-up.
