Nobody Wants This starring Kristen Bell and Adam Brody has been, renewed for a second season.

Netflix's romantic comedy team has hired hit series Girls' Jenni Konner and Bruce Eric Kaplan to join the writers room.

The second season was already in the works before the release of the comedy on 26 September which debuted at number two on its first weekend and got 26.2m views in its first 11 days.

In Nobody Wants This, an aetheist podcast host and an unconventional rabbi meet at a party leading to a will they - won't they relationship quest sprinkled with embarrassing moments and funny quips.

The series was officially ordered by Netflix in March 2023, but was delayed for five months by the WGA strike. The series was on a very tight schedule with filming last January.

The series is produced for Netflix by 20th Television in association with Steven Levitan Productions.
