Michael Fassbender stars in The Agency

The trailer for the Michael Fassbender-starring spy thriller The Agency has been released ahead of the series' arrival on Paramount+ next month.

The cast also includes Richard Gere, Jeffrey Wright, Jodie Turner-Smith, Katherine Waterston, John Magaro, David Harewood, Tom Vaughan-Lawlor, and Ray BLK.

US entertainment trade publication Deadline reports that The Agency follows 'Martian' (Fassbender), "a covert CIA agent ordered to abandon his undercover life and return to London Station".

"When the love he left behind reappears, romance reignites. His career, his real identity, and his mission are pitted against his heart, hurling them both into a deadly game of international intrigue and espionage."

Richard Gere plays Bosko

The Agency is based on the French series Le Bureau des Legendes.

Fassbender is among the executive producers of the series.

The Agency arrives on Paramount+ in Ireland on 30 November

George Clooney is another executive producer through his company, Smokehouse Pictures.
