Thin Lizzy, Rory Gallagher, Clannad and Gilbert O'Sullivan are among the acts featured on a new 52-track tiple CD box set celebrating Celtic Rock music.
Released on 21 June, As I Roved Out - A Story Of Celtic Rock 1968-1978 also features an array of acts from Wales and Scotland including Huw Jones, Y Nhw, Heather Jones and Edward H Dafis Bert Jansch, John Martyn, Al Stewart and Runrig.
Among the French artists featured are Dan Ar Braz, Kyaldan, Namnètes and Alain Samson, while British rock and folk rock bands who were influenced by Celtic music such as Fairport Convention, Steeleye Span, Pentangle, East Of Eden, Wishbone Ash, Faces and Trees are also represented.
