Villagers to come as the Sligo Live Festival continues

Dublin act Villagers is the main weekend attraction at the Knocknarea Arena on Saturday night as the the Sligo Live Festival rolls along.

Under his adopted moniker, Conor O'Brien produced a rich, deep and diverse body of work and Villagers recently released a sixth studio album, That Golden Time.

Critically acclaimed, Villagers have been awarded Ireland’s Choice Music Prize, nominated for UK’s Mercury Music Prize and Conor has been awarded two prestigious Ivor Novellos for his songwriting.

Also on the menu over the coming days are Jargon (Wednesday Oct 30), Susan O'Neill (Thursday Oct 31), The Felice Brothers (Friday Nov 1), Seamus & Caoimhe Ui Fhlatharta (Saturday Nov 2).

Finishing off the festival is none other than Luka Bloom (Sunday Nov 3), whose career spans nearly 50 years and he has released 28 albums to date.

All those above-mentioned concerts will take place at the Hawk's Well Theatre.
