Ar Iarraidh, 9.30pm, TG4

Only years later, in 2015, a search took place in an area called Balmer's Bog.

For over 20 years Ciara's mother, Bernadette Breen, lived - until her own death - without the knowledge of her only child's fate.

Here’s a BBC six-part thriller that’s well worth a look.

It stars Erin Doherty as a woman who seeks an escape from her miserable life by obsessively following a far richer and more successful woman on social media.

She gets the chance to live her dream by posing as her boss's wife to attend a glamorous party, where she has a one-night stand.

The next day, she finds the woman she was so fascinated with is dead - and attempted to call her before she died.

Don’t Miss

The Repair Shop, 8.00pm, BBC One

This show’s always guaranteed to put a smile on your face. And there’s certainly nothing wrong with that.

Tonight the barn welcomes Anthony from Norwich with a very rare model car for the attention of Brenton West.

The gold-plated model of the Lotus Esprit, the submarine car, was one of only ten made for the premiere of the James Bond film The Spy Who Loved Me in 1977, and was presented to his father, Michael.

For Anthony, the car represents his father’s rise from humble apprentice to CEO of one of the most recognisable car brands in the world.

Full of guilt for playing with the car as a child, wearing out the mechanics and ruining the gold plating, Anthony wants the car returned to its former glory to say thank you to his dad for all that he’s done.

Also on tonight’s show: a set of military bagpipes, a pair of Jazz musician statues and a locket found in a field while metal detecting.

Race Across the World, 9.00pm, BBC One

The teams leave Cambodia at the end of the national holiday Pchum Ben and travel 1,400km through Thailand to the mountain town of Mae Sariang in the Shan Highlands on the Thai-Myanmar border.

To reach the checkpoint, they must first circumnavigate the Tonle Sap Lake and decide whether to head west, taking on potentially faster routes, or opt for the eastern route, where lies Siem Reap, the gateway to Angkor Wat.

Set in pre-independent India against the backdrop of the freedom movement, Heeramandi is an epic saga of love, power, betrayal, struggle and, ultimately, freedom.

Ending Today

Surgeons: At the Edge of Life, 9.00pm, BBC Two

The specialists at Southampton work together to treat three patients who are suffering from life- and limb-threatening injuries.
