Speaking about the track, she says: "Can’t Let You Go is an almost satirical, painfully self-aware approach to how when you’re completely enthralled by someone it just takes over your mind and sense of self.

"It’s upbeat, fierce, and romantic. I wanted to take an over-the-top-unserious take even if it is truthful!

Tell us three things about yourself . . .

I’m about to finish my BA in Popular Music at The Cork School Of Music! My mum is my hero. I’ll be recording an EP over summer which I’m beyond excited about.

How would you describe your music?

I like to describe it as electronic dark fairy pop. I’m obsessed with bending genres together, my upcoming single, Can’t Let You Go, has metal style guitar with poppy synths, funky bass lines and electric drums!

Who are your musical inspirations?

At the moment and for my future releases I’d have to say Caroline Polacheck, Charli XCX, The Chemical Brothers, Knower, PinkPantheress and Gorillaz.

What was the first gig you ever went to?

The first gig I went to was P!nk when I was about nine with my family, my sister was obsessed with her. I was in complete awe of the whole experience but, I like to say Troye Sivan was my first concert though when I was 14 when he played The Olympia Theatre, it was incredible. It was like I had found a piece of myself that I didn’t know I was missing.

What was the first record you ever bought?

Electra Heart by Marina And The Diamonds was the first CD I bought with my own money. I was weak for this album, still find myself going back to it and finding new ways to love it. I find it captures girlhood and womanhood perfectly. The first vinyl I bought myself was David Bowie’s ChangesOneBowie.

What’s your favourite song right now?

Spring Is Coming With A Strawberry In The Mouth - Caroline Polacheck.

Favourite lyric of all time?

"We should take a moment and hold it and keep it frozen and know that life has a hopeful undertone."

If you could only listen to one song for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Oh my god aaaaaah so difficult but probably Galvanize by The Chemical Brothers.

Where can people find your music/more information?

My music is across all streaming platforms under the name HANNAHBELLA. Instagram is the best place to keep up to date with my antics @hannah_bella_
