Pamela Anderson has joined the cast of the upcoming new version of The Naked Gun, according to reports.

US publication Deadline has reported that the former Baywatch actress is set to star alongside Liam Neeson in the cop comedy remake, set to hit cinemas in July 2025.

Anderson shared the article on her Instagram story earlier today.

The new movie is based off the hugely popular The Naked Gun television series and trio of films created by Jim Abrahams, David Zucker and Jerry Zucker.

It was reported in February that Neeson is set to lead the modern version of the slapstick films, which starred Leslie Nielson as Franklin "Frank" Drebin, a good-hearted yet gullible detective.
