Speaking about the new release, lead singer and bassist Saoirse Murray says: "We're thrilled to share our new music with the world. This album reflects who we are as a band and where we're heading. We can't wait for everyone to hear it."

Tell us three things about yourself . . .

Saoirse: I'm a struggling musician, all my pets have been rescue animals and I can hold my breath for two minutes.

How would you describe your music?

Saoirse: Our music is a blend of grunge, rock and a little bit of heavy. Off the first album, it's a very rounded sound with a flavour of a few different genres such as soft rock, indie rock, grunge, and a bit of plain old rock and roll.

Who are your musical inspirations?

Saoirse: Our music inspirations are wide and varied - Darren takes a lot of inspiration from the likes of The Boss himself, Springsteen, The Beatles, and Oasis. Ben is more in the same vein as me. We'd enjoy Deftones, Joy Division, Pearl Jam, Smashing Pumpkins, Nirvana, Alice in Chains, Seether, Foo Fighters, and the list goes on. My own guilty pleasures would be the likes of P!nk, Coldplay, and Stevie Nicks. I don't know what Ben’s guilty pleasures are. Darren in his own words - "I don’t feel guilty about any of the music I enjoy".

What was the first gig you ever went to?

Ben: The first live gig I ever attended was Avenged Sevenfold live in the 3Arena in 2013.

What was the first record you ever bought?

Ben: The first record I bought was Nirvana's Nevermind on CD.

What's your favourite song right now?

Ben: The song currently on repeat is I Don't Wanna Be Me by Type O Negative.

Favourite lyric of all time?

Darren: "Did you exchange the walk on part of the war, for a lead role in the cage" - Wish You Were Here by Pink Floyd.

If you could only listen to one song for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Darren: I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For by U2. It’s the song that got me into music when I was a child. It’s a song I never get bored of.

Where can people find your music/more information?

Darren: People can find all our information on our social media outlets: Instagram - @four_way_mirror. Facebook - Four Way Mirror. TikTok - @fourwaymirror. All our music is available on all streaming services, Spotify, Tidal, Apple Music etc.
