Speaking about the album, she says, "'Everything was a journey of fully investigating and giving a voice to all the swimming, yearning, curious parts within me.

"It’s titled Everything because the deeper I go, the more infinite words there are to discover within. This album is a quest to find an oar, a spiritual centre, an anchor, within the wild whirling tides of the sea of life."

I grew up on the great songstresses, Joni Mitchell, Carole King, and Norah Jones. Their warmth and authenticity raised me. As well as a healthy dose of The Beatles The Doobie Brothers and Steely Dan. I am inspired across the board by all artistry. Jazz greats like Ella Fitzgerald. Punch Brothers. Jacob Collier. All musical theatre! Painters. Frida Kahlo, Hilma Klimt and Georgia O'Keefe.

What was the first gig you ever went to?

The Cheetah Girls! At Staples Center.

What was the first record you ever bought?

Hmmmm. Good question. Physical vinyl must’ve been something like Vampire Weekend's self-titled record or Lorde's Pure Heroine.

What’s your favourite song right now?

Free Treasure by Adrienne Lenker.

Favourite lyric of all time?

"And in the end, the love you take is equal to the love you make" - The Beatles.
