Pick of the Day
The Apprentice, 9.00pm, BBC One
Season 18 of this often-hilarious contest ends, and Alan Sugar (below) finally picks the winner.
The finalists take on their last challenge to win a £250,000 investment, with contestants ejected earlier in the series returning to aid them in their endeavours.
The last two must launch their business, create a new brand for their company, produce a digital billboard and direct and edit a television advertisement.
Then it’s all down to pitching to Alan Sugar and industry experts at a black-tie event.
The final is followed at 10pm by The Apprentice: You're Hired, where Tom Allen meets the 2024 winner, Sugar's new business partner, and is also joined by special guests to look back over the previous three months.

The Bermuda Triangle is a part of the planet that’s both other-worldly and spooky.

This week’s focus moves from the world of entertainment to the more serious field of politics. Though Nelson Mandela (above) was the focus of adoration and admiration across the globe.
The life of the South African anti-apartheid activist, politician, and statesman is assessed here by contributors including his daughter, Maki Mandela, and writer Richard Stengel.
Amy Molloy meets Cavan teacher Tara, who wants to see car parking charges at hospitals abolished for cancer patients.
Then Conor Pope meets up with a mother of two who is desperately trying to get her central heating system working properly.
Finally, Siobhan Maguire searches for answers for a small car hire business who had their online account unexpectedly suspended by their payments platform.
Near to the railway station in Kildare town, Gaeilgeoir and primary school teacher Shónagh is struggling with the rising tide of clutter at the cottage she shares with her four young children.

Here’s an enjoyable musical, with Shirley MacLaine, John McMartin, Ricardo Montalban and Sammy Davis Jr, and featuring songs including The Rhythm of Life and Big Spender.
MacLaine plays a lonely but optimistic dancer in a seedy nightclubwho goes in search of true love but instead finds a succession of deceitful men who only let her down.
When she meets a shy, claustrophobic man in a lift, she thinks he might be the one - but tries to keep her past a secret.
Taskmaster, 9.00pm, Channel 4
Contenders Joanne McNally, John Robins, Nick Mohammed, Sophie Willan and Steve Pemberton are forced to wrangle wild animals - with unpleasant consequences for Sophie and Steve.
Taskmaster Greg Davies' loyal valet Alex Horne watches on as Joanne demonstrates a traditional Irish handshake, John reveals a love of pickled onions and Nick sparks controversy with a cardboard tube.
Actors Larry Lamb and Alison Steadman - Gavin's parents in Gavin & Stacey - embark on a road trip to investigate their respective family histories using a mix of DNA and genealogy, meeting living family members they never knew existed along the way.
Alison comes to learn that her father George Percy was adopted. For Larry, a series of delightful coincidences occur.
There's the entertaining bombshell that he's related to one of the world's first famous movie stars, a Canadian actress called Florence Lawrence.
A pure coincidence, but Canada is the place where Larry started his acting career himself. He also finds out where his Jewish roots come from, all the way from Lithuania which just happens to be from where his best mate hails.

Bennie Upshaw (Mike Epps), the head of a Black working class family in Indianapolis, is a charming, well-intentioned mechanic and lifelong mess just trying his best to step up and care for his family.
They are his wife Regina (Kim Fields), their two young daughters (Khali Spraggins, Journey Christine) and firstborn son (Jermelle Simon), the teenage son (Diamond Lyons) he fathered with another woman (Gabrielle Dennis).
He also must tolerate his sardonic sister-in-law (Wanda Sykes), all without a success blueprint. But the Upshaws are determined to make it work, and make it to the next level, together.
In this latest episode, the Upshaws continue to ride life’s ups and downs, including new jobs, bigger dreams, health struggles and some major life surprises but still hanging on with the love that comes with family.
