Retro Futuristic Cinematic Sci Fi Soul… It’s pretty specific but the band is based in Hamburg, Germany where people love specific genres, so it needs to be.

What was the first gig you ever went to?

Rodrigo & Gabriella in (I’m almost certain) the Olympia Theatre, Dublin when I was about 11. I went with my parents and I was totally blown away.

What was the first record you ever bought?

The first CD I bought was 1039 Smoothed Out Slappy Hours by Green Day when I was 12 with my communion money. But the first actual vinyl record I bought was The Beatles Let it Be . . . Naked - If you haven’t heard this version of the album, you should.

What’s your favourite song right now?

Cowboy Gangster Politician by Goldie Boutelier.

Favourite lyric of all time?

"God is a concept by which we measure pain" - John Lennon.

If you could only listen to one song for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Romeo & Juliet Fantasy Overture by Tchaikovsky. Studied it in secondary school music class and now I know every note, not by choice but I am obsessed with it.
