Childhood friends Tara and Anna worked together under various guises, sharing stages in Irish punk bands and touring and recording in the US before starting T.A Narrative during lockdown.

Speaking about the track, Tara says, "I wrote this as an observer, witnessing someone engaging in the addictive state of infatuation, and the destruction that followed.

"While I claim to be an outside observer, I can't help but see parallels between their behaviour, my own experiences, and the larger societal, environmental, and global issues we all face."

T.A Narrative play the All Together Now festival, August Bank Holiday Weekend, Curraghmore Estate, Co Waterford.

Tell us three things about yourself . . .

Tara: We've been friends for 27 years. Anna just only just found out that I had a childhood friend called Tessa Strange. I can do one-handed cartwheels.

How would you describe your music?

Anna: We're a little OTT. Dramatic pop perhaps?

Who are your musical inspirations?

Tara: Frogs, Internet cats and goths.

What was the first gig you ever went to?

Anna: Coincidentally, our first gig was the same one. It was a Limerick band called Tooth in the Savoy in Limerick circa 2000. We were underage but Brian Meaney bought us a pint to share (sup for sup) and we all got kicked out.

What was the first record you ever bought?

Tara: Abba Gold on cassette. Got it from Santa so technically didn't buy it.

What's your favourite song right now?

Anna: Caroline Polachek's version of Spring Is Coming With A Strawberry in the Mouth. Originally written by Dublin man Roger Doyle!

Favourite lyric of all time?

Tara: Easy! Opening line from the Pointer Sisters song Dare Me - "I've got a chip on my shoulder with your name on it."

If you could only listen to one song for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Anna: Limerick, You're A Lady. Obviously.
