It's shaping up to be quite a year for gigs in Ireland - with some of music's most celebrated artists making their way to our shores over the coming months.
There really is something for everyone as we head into the warmer months - from the much-loved Take That hitting the road with new music, to The Boss's four massive outdoor gigs, Taylor Swift's epic Eras Tour coming to the Aviva and renowned live performers Coldplay taking to the stage at the iconic Croke Park.

Beloved 90s boyband Take That delighted fans when they announced brand new music and live shows last September. Gary Barlow, Mark Owen and Howard Donald will be hitting the road in April to tour their ninth studio album, This Life, and will take to the stage at the 3Arena on 22 and 23 April. They will be joined by special guest Olly Murs.

US star Olivia Rodrigo is playing two dates at Dublin's 3Arena, as part of her GUTS world tour on 30 April and 1 May. This is the three-time Grammy award-winning artist's first arena tour and it follows her whirlwind rise as one of the biggest new names in pop with the massive success of her debut single Drivers License and her first album Sour.

This May, American rock legend Bruce Springsteen will play four huge stadium gigs in Cork, Dublin, Kilkenny and Belfast as part of his world tour. According to reports fans can expects a "rollicking, high-energy affair". US music website Billboard said: "Gone are tour mainstays from the earlier leg, such as the funky The E Street Shuffle and the jazzy 7-minute Kitty's Back, and six songs from Springsteen’s last album of original material, 2020’s Letter to You, replaced with tunes that make for a fast-paced, non-stop thrill ride of a show."

Noughties pop group Girls Aloud are reuniting for a 2024 arena tour in Ireland and the UK which kicks off in the 3Arena on Friday 17 May. Nadine Coyle, Cheryl, Nicola Roberts and Kimberley Walsh will also play the Dublin venue on Saturday 18 May before taking to the stage at Belfast's SSE Arena on Monday 20 May 2024. Fans will be hoping to hear banging hits like Love Machine, Sound of the Underground and Something Kinda Ooooh.

Canadian singer-songwriter Bryan Adams, famed for his chart-topper Everything I Do, I Do It for You, is taking his So Happy It Hurts tour to Dublin's 3Arena on 21 May and Belfast's SSE Arena on 22 May.

Iconic American singer Dionne Warwick will play Dublin's Vicar Street on 22 - 23 May and Belfast's Ulster Hall on Sunday 26 May. The gigs will see 83-year-old Warwick guiding fans through her life story and six decade-long career, from her humble beginnings as a gospel singer in New Jersey to worldwide stardom. Warwick will be joined on stage by interviewer Dave Wooley who will speak to the singer about her life.

Van Morrison will perform three outdoor shows in Belfast, Cork and Dublin this summer. The 78-year-old Grammy Award winner will play Live At Botanic Gardens Belfast on Sunday 26 May, followed by Live At The Marquee in Cork on Friday, 31 May and the Iveagh Gardens in Dublin on Thursday, 4 July. The legendary Northern Irish singer-songwriter, who is widely considered one of the most influential artists of all time, will perform tracks from his latest albums Accentuate The Positive and Moving On Skiffle.

Legendary British singer Rod Stewart will play Dublin's Royal Hospital Kilmainham on Sunday 26 May. Following the success of recent sold-out shows in Dublin, Cork and Belfast, the singer is expected to expected to deliver a hit-filled set, so you can be sure to hear tracks such as You Wear It Well, Young Turks and Forever Young.

Forbidden Fruit
1-2 June, Royal Hospital Kilmainham Dublin
Canadian singer-songwriter Nelly Furtado, known for her hits Promiscuous, Say it Right and Maneater, electronic music star Four Tet and Belfast duo Bicep are among the headliners for Forbidden Fruit Festival 2024. The Dublin city centre festival, which takes place on the June bank holiday weekend on the grounds of The Royal Hospital in Kilmainham, is now in its twelfth year.

Irish pop rock band Picture This will play St Anne's Park, Dublin on Saturday 1 June, Belsonic Belfast on 8 June and and Musgrave Park, Cork on Saturday 15 June, with support from Calum Scott. The four-piece, who hail from Athy in Co Kildare, have amassed over 450 million total streams, selling out stadiums including a five-night stand at Dublin's 3Arena and headlining Electric Picnic’s Main Stage twice. Expect a huge sing-along to hits such as Take My Hand, One Drink and Everything or Nothing.
In The Meadows
8 June, Royal Hospital Kilmainham Dublin
The inaugural In The Meadows one-day event comes from the people behind the All Together Now and Forbidden Fruit festivals. It takes place on Saturday 8 June in Dublin's Royal Hospital Kilmainham and is headlined and co-curated by Irish rock band Lankum. Also performing will be Mogwai, Black Country, New Road, John Francis Flynn and This Is The Kit.
Smashing Pumpkins and Weezer
10 June, 3Arena Dublin
In a dream double bill for many rockers of a certain vintage, US bands The Smashing Pumpkins and Weezer are set to play the 3Arena in Dublin on 10 June. Chicago band Smashing Pumpkins last played Ireland in 2008 when they performed in the RDS as part of their 20th anniversary tour. The band, who play a mix of metal, goth, psychedelia and electronica, have scored huge hits in Ireland with Tonight, Tonight, 1979 and Bullet With Butterfly Wings.
The Killers
12, 14 and15 June, 3Arena Dublin
Celebrating two decades of making music with a new compilation album and tour, The Killers will play three dates at Dublin's 3Arena on 12, 14 and 15 June. The band headlined Electric Picnic in Stradbally, Co Laois last September, while they also played gigs at Malahide Castle in 2022.

Irish breakthrough act CMAT will play her biggest Irish gig yet when she takes to the stage at Fairview Park in Dublin on Thursday 13 June as part of her California or Bust tour. Expect crowd surfing, cowboy boots and a whole lot of fun.

Pink is bringing her Summer Carnival world tour to Dublin's Aviva Stadium on Thursday 20 and Friday 21 June. If you haven't been to a Pink gig before, you are in for a treat. It will be a hit-packed, high-energy, carnival-party, featuring breath-taking aerial acrobatics, pumping dance routines and vibrant costume changes. There will be support from Rag N' Bone Man, Gayle and Kidcutup.

Belfast rap trio Kneecap have taken the world by storm in 2024 since their award-winning turn at Sundance Film Festival in January with their autobiographical self-titled feature. This headlining gig at Galway's Festival Big Top is a golden chance to see Móglaí Bap, Mo Chara, and DJ Provaí, bring their electrifying energy to a live audience.

The National, Jorja Smith, Roisín Murphy, Future Islands, Bakar, and Barry Can't Swim are among the headliners for the All Together Now festival at Curraghmore Estate, Waterford on the bank holiday weekend of 1 to 4 August. With 18 stages of music, spoken word, storytelling, comedy, wellness and food, it gearing up to be a fun-filled weekend.
Electric Picnic Festival
16 - 18 August, Stradbally Hall Laois
Electric Picnic Festival is set to move from its traditional September slot to a new August weekend for the first time this year. EP 2024 will take place from Friday 16 to Sunday 18 August. Information on the line-up for the three-day festival has yet to be released.

17 August, Croke Park Dublin
Rock icons AC/DC, who celebrated their 50th anniversary last year, will conclude their European tour in Dublin's Croke Park on Saturday 17 August. The band last played Ireland in 2015 with a sold-out show in the Aviva Stadium.

23 - 24 August, Royal Hospital Kilmainham Dublin
Niall Horan will play Dublin's Royal Hospital Kilmainham on 23 and 24 August. The Show - Live On Tour 2024 is the former One Directioner's biggest tour yet and first headline run since 2018's Flicker World Tour. He’ll be performing songs from all three of his solo albums, including recent No.1 album The Show.

American alternative rock band Pixies will play the Galway Summer Sessions, Galway Airport on Tuesday 27 August, CHSq Belfast on Wednesday 28 August and RDS Simmonscourt, Dublin on Thursday 29 August.
Coldplay
29 August - 2 September, Croke Park Dublin
Renowned live performers Coldplay will bring their Music of the Spheres World Tour to Dublin's Croke Park on Thursday 29 August and Friday 30 August. The band last played Croke Park in a celebrated show in the summer of 2017. If you missed tickets when they first went on sale, Coldplay often announce more tickets called 'Infinity tickets' closer to their gigs and are usually offered at a lower price point to make the show more affordable for fans - so keep your eyes peeled!
