Tell us three things about yourself . . .

I left my job after nearly 12 years to become an actor when I was 27, and that led me here. I started my first business with my friend when we were eight, we went around cutting grass so we could buy pen knives, and once we got the pen knives we folded the business up. I found a black cat banger on the road when I was 10 or 11 and myself and my brother let it off in our bedroom.

How would you describe your music?

The music is quite a mix, but someone told us after a gig once it was like watching a "Jazzy Fontaines D.C." so let's go with that.

Who are your musical inspirations?

Early inspiration came from, Michael Jackson, Dire Straits, Queen, Phil Lynott - Thin Lizzy, Bob Marley, and more recently it’s been Tom Misch, Tash Sultana, Bob Dylan, and Leonard Cohen.

What was the first gig you ever went to?

The first gig I ever went to was Michael Jackson but I was too young so I have no memory, the first gig I remember, kind of, was probably "The Winter Party" in the old Point Depot.

What was the first record you ever bought?

I think it was something like All Eyes On Me by 2Pac, or The Marshall Mathers LP by Eminem. The first ones I was gifted that lit a fire in me were Thin Lizzy's Wild One and a Bob Marley one, I don’t know the name and I’ve never managed to find it online though. It was an album my dad bought off a lucky, lucky man in Spain or something so who knows?

What’s your favourite song right now?

I’m loving Angus and Julia Stone right now, but my favourite song at present is probably, Overnight by Parcels. It’s a jam.

Favourite lyric of all time?

Queen - Another One Bites The Dust. "Are you ready? Hey, are you ready for this? Are you hanging on the edge of your seat? Out of the doorway, the bullets rip, To the sound of the beat, yeah."

If you could only listen to one song for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Easy - Iron Sky by Paulo Nutini.

Where can people find your music/more information?

We have everything on all streaming platforms, Spotify and Apple Music, and they will get some videos on Instagram and YouTube.
