It’s Netherlands v England (KO 8pm) in the second Euro 2024 semi-final, which comes from BVB Stadion Dortmund.

England secured their place in the semi-final - despite being duller than an Irish summer, and with major question marks over coach Gareth Southgate and skipper Harry Kane.

Underwhelming performances in the group stage have been followed with two spells of extra-time against Slovakia and Switzerland, with the latter tie going to a penalty shootout.

The Netherlands came through their group as one of the best third-placed teams, before beating Romania and Turkiye to reach a Euro semi-final for the first time in 20 years.

Ronald Koeman is their head coach and was a key part of the only Dutch side to win the tournament, back in 1988, when they defeated Ireland along the way.

Joanne Cantwell presents, with analysis from Dietmar Hamann and Kevin Doyle.
