We Live in Time, the new romantic drama from Brooklyn director John Crowley, will receive its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival in September.
The world premiere of the Andrew Garfield and Florence Pugh-starring film will take place at the Prince of Wales Theatre in Toronto on Friday 6 September.
Written by Olivier Award-winning playwright Nick Payne, We Live in Time is billed as a "deeply moving romance".
"Almut (Florence Pugh) and Tobias (Andrew Garfield) are brought together in a surprise encounter that changes their lives," the synopsis reads.
"Through snapshots of their life together - falling for each other, building a home, becoming a family - a difficult truth is revealed that rocks its foundation.
"As they embark on a path challenged by the limits of time, they learn to cherish each moment of the unconventional route their love story has taken, in filmmaker John Crowley's decade-spanning, deeply moving romance."
An Irish release date for We Live in Time is yet to be announced.
Cork director Crowley's other films include Intermission, Boy A, and The Goldfinch.
