Daisy Edgar-Jones lip syncs to Teresa Mannion's viral weather report

While promoting their new storm-centred blockbuster Twisters, a modern take on the 1996 classic Twister, Edgar-Jones and her co-star Anthony Ramos paid homage to Mannion's legendary report.

In a video uploaded to Warner Bros' Instagram page, they lip-synced to Mannion's famous words: "Don't make unnecessary journeys, don't take risks on treacherous roads, and don't swim in the sea!"

One follower commented on the amusing video: "Teresa Mannion has gone INTERNATIONAL", while another wrote "Gwan Teresa".

Mannion became an internet sensation following her report in 2015, with users expressing huge respect for her dedication to the job.

She was deemed a "legend" for the rain-drenched report, while numerous people on social media said she deserved an Oscar for her heartfelt performance or at least a hot cup of tea.

Following the broadcast, the internet exploded with videos paying homage to her dramatic report.
