Dozens of fans cheered and applauded as pop star Lady Gaga presented preview extracts from her new album in front of her hotel in Paris days after her performance at the Olympic Games Opening Ceremony.
Lady Gaga surprised fans, some of whom had been waiting for hours to see the pop star.
Outside her hotel, she came out of an SUV's sun roof with a laptop, and played two audio tracks from her upcoming album.
Gaga's fans said they were ecstatic to have watched their favourite artist present her new music.
"I think it's really a kind of thank you for these four days during which the fans waited for her, after she participated in the Olympics in front of more than a billion people, I think it was really the best place for her to do that," said a fan.
Even though she revealed some extracts, the star has not yet publicised the release date of her next album, leaving fans in suspense.
"It seems quite danceable so I'm really excited to hear that," another fan, Jonathan, said.
On Friday, Lady Gaga opened the four-hour show of the world's most-watched event with a cover of the song Mon Truc en Plumes in tribute to French cabaret star Zizi Jeanmaire.
