Tell us three things about yourself . . .
I'm a die-hard lover of literature. Good or bad, I am incredibly competitive, during tournament tennis days I refused to give up a match, even playing on a broken ankle. I’m a sucker for anything chocolate.
How would you describe your music?
Indie pop with a splash of heartache and the occasional celebration of resilience.

Who are your musical inspirations?
With my eclectic music taste, I have many and am always discovering new inspirations. Growing up, I would often listen to my mom’s favourite country artists, particularly enjoying the Dixie Chicks and Dolly Parton. I also adore Joni Mitchell and Lady Gaga and have recently fallen in love with The Smiths.
What was the first gig you ever went to?
The Indigo Girls performed in my hometown of Stamford, Connecticut. They’re another one of my mother’s favourites and also mine.
What was the first record you ever bought?
I don’t really buy records but the first song I downloaded for a playlist was Heart Attack by Demi Lovato.
What’s your favourite song right now?
Right now, Pretty Little Addict by Haiden Henderson is on replay for me.
Favourite lyric of all time?
"Well, something’s lost, but something’s gained in living every day" - Both Sides Now by Joni Mitchell.
If you could only listen to one song for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Honestly, that would be a form of torture because my music preference changes with my mood, but I really respect the lyricism of All Too Well by Taylor Swift.
Where can people find your music/more information?
You can find me (Isabel Mirri) on all music platforms (Apple Music, Spotify, etc.), and I give updates about my new releases on Instagram. My user is @IsabelMirri.
