Tell us three things about yourself . . .
I'm Alfie. Three things about me to tell you would be that I’m a songwriter/artist and recently have become a podcaster. And I like to bake bread.
How would you describe your music?
I write lyrics about all sorts that happen in my life and my sound varies between folk, pop and rock.
Who are your musical inspirations?
Joni Mitchell, Nick Drake and The Beatles
What was the first gig you ever went to?
The first gig I went to was to see Oasis in Slane castle when I was around 16. I got right up the front and it’s still to this day one of the best gigs I’ve ever been to.
What was the first record you ever bought?
The first record I bought . . . it’s not great to be honest, was Who Let The Dogs Out. I was very young, not my proudest moment.
What’s your favourite song right now?
Favourite song now and always is From The Morning - Nick Drake.
Favourite lyric of all time?
"It’s getting better all the time" - Getting Better by The Beatles.
If you could only listen to one song for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Angel by Little Simz.
