Cleo Laine: The Unseen Home Movies, 8.00pm, Sky Arts

This is an interview with the award-winning jazz, pop and classical singer Cleo Laine, combining stories of her past with previously unseen footage from her personal archives.

The English singer and actress known for her scat singing is now 96 years old, with a career that started in the 1950s and she was still performing just a few years ago.

She is the widow of jazz composer and musician John Dankworth and the mother of bassist Alec Dankworth and singer Jacqui Dankworth.

Saving Lives in Cardiff, 9.00pm, BBC Two

Here's a new – and yet another – documentary series looking at the goings-on at a hospital.

In neurosurgery at the University Hospital of Wales, consultant George Eralil prioritises 19-year-old Chelsea who has an extremely rare brain tumour.

Her operation has been cancelled once already and if it's delayed any longer Chelsea could be left with permanent disabilities or even find her life at risk.

Surgery is complicated, as the tumour is deep in her brain and close to areas that control her speech and ability to walk.

Meanwhile, vascular consultant Lewis Meecham faces a wave of emergency cases, including a 74-year-old man with an abdominal aortic aneurysm

Elsbeth, 9.00pm, Sky Witness

This show is all about the journey. We all know who’s guilty and how, but the fun is in seeing Elsbeth get there in the end.

In this week’s episode, when the world's top tennis champion drops dead on the court, Elsbeth and Kaya home in on a rising tennis star and his competitive father and coach (guest star Blair Underwood).

Meanwhile, Captain Wagner begins to suspect Elsbeth's reason for being in New York goes beyond the consent decree.

Cooking with the Stars, 9.00pm, Virgin Media One

Emma Willis and Tom Allen (below) host the celebrity cooking contest as Carol Vorderman, Linford Christie and Ellie Simmonds try to impress their loved ones with family favourite dishes they serve up in the studio.

With double the amount of meals to deliver this time, the pressure is really on the celebs as they battle it out for a place in the semi-final.

Ultimately, the stars who fail to impress the show's chefs head into the dreaded cook-off, with one heading home.

Worst House on the Street, 8.00pm, Channel 4

This week's less-than-glorious gaff is Maria's stuck-in-the-past Sheffield house, which needs a complete facelift.

With a lacklustre layout and dodgy décor to tackle, can she create the home of her dreams within her budget?

Brother-and-sister property developers Scarlette and Stuart Douglas offer her advice.

Celebrity MasterChef, 9.00pm, BBC One

More celebs in the kitchen fun and games with John Torode and Gregg Wallace (below).

Facing the second heat are Team GB sprinter Harry Aikines-Aryeetey, actor Danielle Harold, comedian and actor Eshaan Akbar, actor Rochenda Sandall and reality star Chloe Burrows.

The contestants must create a dish that celebrates a secret ingredient, before cooking up their dinner party dishes.

Merseyside Detectives: The Murders of Ashley and Olivia, 9.00pm, Channel 4

Continuing on from last night’s opening episode, Olivia's mother Cheryl makes a public appeal to those who know something about the shooting to speak out, addressing her daughter's killer directly.

In Ashley's murder investigation, voice notes on her phone reveal a long-standing feud between her boyfriend and the head of a local organised crime group.

Arrests are made in relation to Olivia's murder, but no-one will talk.

First Dates, 10.00pm, Channel 4

Best friends Emma and Dani hope that going on a double date will double their chances of leaving with the one for them.

Emma is matched with wildlife documentary filmmaker Joe while Dani is paired with construction worker Clinton but the girls start to wonder if they should swap partners.

Meanwhile, factory worker Mark is hoping Venezuelan cleaner Aire will be his perfect salsa partner and DJ Mel goes on a date with fashion graduate Samira.
