The Script frontman Danny O'Donoghue has revealed that he and his partner Anais Naing are engaged.

The singer shared the couple's happy news with The Sun, telling the tabloid that they became engaged earlier this month in Norway.

"We hiked up to the top of a mountain to face the most beautiful waterfall in the world, The Seven Sisters. It's our favourite place on earth," he recounted.

"I nearly passed out from exhaustion carrying up all the champagne, glasses, and food for if she said yes. I had to do it all without her knowing."

O'Donoghue and Naing, who is an events manager from France, met during the pandemic.

The Script's new album, Satellites, was released last week.
