Europa League Play-Off, 6.30pm, LOITV

It's a momentous night for Irish football as it's the first time two of our clubs participate in the play-offs.

No matter what happens between tonight and next Thursday’s second leg in Tallaght, Shamrock Rovers are guaranteed group stage football as defeat here would parachute them into the Conference League.

The Hoops are also no strangers to PAOK’s Toumba Stadium, having played there during their groundbreaking Europa League run in 2011. Rovers lost 2-1.

But this version of PAOK is a lot stronger than back then as the Greek champions have spent many millions to build a squad capable to reaching the latter stages of European competition.

Twice in recent years they’ve reached the quarter-finals of the Conference League and this time round their target is the latter stages of the Europa League.

Also tonight: Europa Conference League Play-off (7.45pm, Solid Sport).

Tallaght Stadium is the venue as Saint Patrick’s Athletic host crack Turkish side Istanbul Başakşehir FK for a place in the Conference League group stages.

Stephen Kenny’s Saints have done extremely well to get to the play-offs, but they’ll up against it here as Başakşehir have beaten the likes of Manchester United and Fiorentina and hammered Hearts in recent years.

GG Precinct, Netflix

Here's what's promising to be a genre-blending crime comedy series from Taiwan.

It builds on the success of box office hit Marry My Dead Body, which was also Taiwan’s official selection for the 2024 Academy Awards.

Catch the motley cops of GG Precinct as they return for more mind-boggling and side-splitting crime investigations.

Secret Lives of Orangutans, Netflix

Orangutans are not just one of our closest relatives, they’re perhaps more relatable to us than any other great ape.

Narrated by David Attenborough (above), this film follows a remarkable group of orangutans in the pristine jungles of Sumatra.

At the centre of this story is 8-year-old Eden, who’s about to embark on the most challenging moment of her life.

That '90s Show, Netflix

Season 3 Part 3 picks up right back in the Forman kitchen – where Red and Kitty return from Paris to find a giant hole in the wall. And this isn’t even the biggest crisis Leia has to face.

New relationships are formed, old ones move to the next level. Friendships are tested and just when things seem to be working out, a blast from the past returns to blow it all up again.

With Summer break winding down, the gang must come to terms with Leia leaving them again, but this time she’s not going without a fight.
