Spencer Matthews has said it was a "truly unforgettable journey" as he became the Guinness World Record Holder for the most consecutive marathons run on sand.
The broadcaster and reality TV star completed 30 marathons in 30 days through the Jordanian desert to raise money for Global's Make Some Noise.
In a post to Instagram, Matthews said he could "hardly believe it" after he broke the world record.

Spencer told his followers on Instagram: "I did it! I can hardly believe it! 30 DESERT MARATHONS IN 30 CONSECUTIVE DAYS… ALL ON SAND.
"I am now a Guinness World Records holding endurance athlete - the first and only person to successfully run this many back-to-back marathons in these extreme conditions. Just over 42.2km or 26.2 miles, every single day.
"That’s 1,274.02km of some of the world’s toughest terrain with no real comfort in which to recover.
"I did this to raise awareness and funds for the incredible work that Global’s Make Some Noise do to support small charities across the UK, making sure no one has to go through life’s toughest challenges alone.
"So far we have raised a staggering £340,757 but as far as I’m concerned, we are just getting started… Please consider donating now if you haven’t already via the link in my bio."
Matthews' wife, Irish TV star Vogue Williams, travelled to Jordan to meet her husband along with two of their children, Theo and Gigi.
Ahead of his final marathon, he told RSVP Live: "Vogue and the kids arrived this morning. It's so lovely to see them; I’ve missed them terribly so it’s great that they are here."

During the challenge, Matthews has been running in daily temperatures of over 30C and has run at 3.30am local time to escape the daytime heat.
He has had an average of 5 hours 45 minutes sleep a night – with some nights only having two or three hours sleep.
He said previously in an interview with Capital: "I feel like my body has been put in a tumble dryer. It's very hard to imagine getting going again each morning, because when you do manage to get sleep – and sleep is the commodity out here - it’s really hard to sleep properly.
"You’re very, very lucky to get between four-and-a-half and five hours sleep. It is rough and it is hard."
Before he left for Jordan, Matthews met a number of the charities supported by Global’s Make Some Noise along the way.
He said at the time: "Meeting these charities in person today has made the challenge much more poignant. It’s been a humbling day – listening to their stories first hand has fired me up to do everything I can to make a difference.
"I’ve had the privilege to meet four charities today but there are a hundred each year that Global’s Make Some Noise support - the more we raise the more lives we’ll be able to change. I am now more determined than ever before to complete the challenge. When things get tough, the memory of who I’ve met today will inspire me to keep going."
In his Instagram post about his achievement, Matthews added: "Huge thanks to my incredible support team without whom this would have been impossible.
"Your professionalism and constant prevention of issues before they became serious allowed me to achieve this goal. A truly unforgettable journey. What a month! What a feeling!"
