Katie Price to attend 'private interview' over finances

The latest hearing related to Katie Price's bankruptcies has been adjourned so she can attend a "private interview" over her finances.

The former glamour model was due to face questions from barristers in a specialist bankruptcy court in London on Tuesday in a hearing known as a public examination.

But a judge adjourned the hearing after the 46-year-old’s lawyers asked for her to attend a "private interview" with lawyers representing the trustee of her bankruptcies.

Bertie Beor-Roberts, for Price, said: "We are asking the court to adjourn the examination generally."

He continued: "The general purpose is to permit Price to attend a private interview with the trustee and then to continue to engage constructively."

Chief Insolvency and Companies Court Judge Nicholas Briggs agreed to the adjournment and asked Price whether she would give an undertaking to the court that she would attend the private interview on 24 September.

Price replied: "I do."

As she left court, Price told journalists: "I hope you reporters write a good story today, won’t you, all the bulls*** that you write, scumbags."

Price was first declared bankrupt in 2019 and then again in March this year because of a tax debt worth more than £750,000 (€888,000).

The 46-year-old was arrested earlier this month after a judge issued an arrest warrant for failing to attend a previous court date.

She was told at a hearing on 9 August that she must attend Tuesday's hearing with "no ifs, no buts" or face arrest again.

Under a separate court order, Price must pay 40% of her monthly income from the adult entertainment website OnlyFans and a host of other companies to the trustee of her bankruptcies until February 2027 as part of her efforts to pay off her debts.

She has also had her income from TikTok suspended as part of the dispute and has previously been ordered to deliver six of her vehicles to the trustee to help pay off money owed, including a pink Range Rover.
