Don't miss the RTÉ line-up at Bloom 2024

Taking place over the June Bank Holiday weekend (May 30 - June 3), and running from 9am to 6pm daily, Bord Bia's Bloom is set to celebrate its seventeenth birthday with spectacular entertainment and heavenly gardens.

Spanning 70 acres of Dublin's Phoenix Park, the spectacular gardening event is a great coming together for garden designers, flower growers, landscapers, plantaholics, garden-furniture makers, food fanatics and anyone who loves to garden.

This year's event will place an emphasis on sustainability and caring for the environment with plans to discuss air quality, food waste, and highlight how children benefit from outdoor play in the natural world.

THURSDAY

MARTY WHELAN LIVE FROM BLOOM

Join Marty Whelan live from the annual Bloom festival, Ireland's largest gardening and food event in the Phoenix Park, Dublin. He'll be joined by some of the garden designers taking part in this year's festival, plus live music from Connor McKeon and his Big Band, and Neven Maguire with top tips for summer dining.

FRIDAY

NIALL CARROLL'S CLASSICAL DAYTIME

This Friday Niall Carroll is live with his regular show from Bloom 2024 at Phoenix Park playing music from the heart of the classical repertoire with Sounds on Screen, a piece from either the big or the small screen at 11am, and at midday a piece from Antonio Vivaldi to wrap up his five selections for the week .

LORCAN MURRAY LIVE FROM BLOOM

If you're interested in garden-design, growing your own fruit and vegetables or simply enjoy the lure of the soil then join Lorcan Murray live from Bloom in Phoenix Park with music, chat and green-fingered guests. Lorcan brings a bright and blossoming playlist for the event and some uplifting live musical performances.

COUNTRYWIDE WITH PHILIP BOUCHER-HAYES LIVE FROM BLOOM

SATURDAY AFTERNOON WITH SIMON DELANEY LIVE FROM BLOOM

Join stage and screen actor Simon Delaney live at Bloom 2024, celebrating Ireland's festival of flowers, food and fun. Fans of Simon's Sunday afternoon show can expect the same mix of easy chat, good humour and great jazz as we join him in the perfect outdoor setting. We'll also enjoy stage and screen favourites performed onstage by Cormac Kenevey and The Velvet Lounge Band.
