Who will win Super Garden 2024? Check out the competing gardens

Now in its 15th series, the garden design challenge has once again showcased the extraordinary talents of aspiring designers from across the country as well as the wide variety of ways our gardens can improve our lives.

The winning designer will not only gain prestigious recognition but will also have their creation exhibited at Bord Bia Bloom, Ireland's premier garden festival, where over a hundred thousand visitors will experience their vision.

Over the past several weeks, these designers have poured their creativity and expertise into their gardens, each hoping to earn the coveted spot at Bord Bia Bloom.

Gary Hegarty's 'Unity' design

Gary Hegarty from Derry designed a Love Island inspired sensory garden for Keelin and Anthony and their children, Ellie, Jackson, and Fury. Gary's creation aimed to provide a therapeutic space for five-year-old Fury, who has autism.

Dijana Kalic's 'Delve Deeper' design

Dijana Kalic, originally from Croatia, crafted a tranquil garden for Michael and his sons, Joshua and Daniel. Her design incorporated Japanese elements to honour the memory of Michael's late wife, Breda, while providing a space for family gatherings.

John Dooley's 'Back to the Future' design

John Dooley from Kildare created a low-maintenance, sustainable and bio diverse garden for Daija and her daughters, Amanda and Amelia. John's design accommodated Daija's scoliosis and offered an easy-to-care-for space for the family to enjoy.

Pedro Roche's 'Shizen' design

Pedro Roche from Wexford designed a garden for Yvonne and her family, focusing on areas for entertaining, a play space for her granddaughter Maeve, and a peaceful breakfast spot for Yvonne.

Breda Tennyson's 'Circles of Life' design

Breda Tennyson from Kilkenny, a retired Civil Servant, designed a tranquil garden for Caroline and her daughter Sarah. Breda's 'Circles of Life' design emphasised a meadow-style grass area, reflecting her passion for sustainability.
