Looking for the Sabrina Carpenter to your Barry Keoghan? The Matt Bomer to your Jonathan Bailey? Or has the new season of Bridgerton just put you in the mood for a little romance?

If you're tired of waiting for your meet-cute in real life, look no further: First Dates Ireland is open for applications for the next season, and they're specifically looking for men over the age of 35.

To be in with a chance at love, or at least a really good dessert at the Gibson Hotel, applicants have to be 18 or over and, of course, be single.

People of all genders and sexual orientations are welcome and the matchmakers will be only too pleased to accept the challenge of finding your perfect match.

The masterful matchmakers are already halfway through casting for the show's 10th season, and will be returning with a fresh new look and a nationwide series of events where singletons can meet the team, share their dreams and apply in person. There's no excuse not to get involved!

So, if you know someone who could do with a nudge, send them to www.cococontent.ie/firstdates for more information.

Don't forget, if you're a little camera shy, you can also apply to be a background diner.
