New Kiwis coach Stacey Jones has confirmed his coaching group for the 2024 Pacific Championships — a line-up that features six former Kiwis.
His assistant coaches include former Kiwis captains Nathan Cayless and Adam Blair, as well as Australian Steve Price, who has been with the team since the 2021 World Cup and previously coached St George and Warrington.
"Steve Price brings his defensive mindset," Jones said.

"That was a big part of the group last year, having a strong defensive game plan and he brought that. Nathan Cayless has a strong connection with our middle forwards and brings both attacking and defensive knowledge."
Cayless has been an assistant previously, while it's Blair's first time.
"The Kiwis has always given me a place of purpose ... to be able to represent my country and my family was always an honour," Blair said.
Stephen Kearney will be culture and leadership adviser, Daryl Halligan is kicking coach and David Solomona well-being manager.
