The Fiat 600 Hybrid has the Fiat charm but does it lead the way? With plenty of colours to choose from, the 600 colour palette adds a bit of brightness to the usual greys and blacks on offer. It also offers a bubbly design face, especially where the clamshell bonnet cuts through the LED headlights.

While it can carry up to four passengers, there's not quite enough space for two adults in the back. Where it's most proficient is running the city or urban streets with a nippy lift from the hybrid, which also ensures around 800km plus, from a tank.

Fiat Ireland lent the vehicle to journalists for the purpose of review.
