The Armagh football final has been called off with less than an hour's notice due to high winds brought by Storm Ashley.
Clan na Gael and Clann Eireann were set to meet in BOX-IT Athletic Grounds at 4.15pm, but supporters were informed after 3.30pm that the game was postponed.
Scaffolding behind the Niall's Cresent Terrace end was blown over during the intermediate final that preceded the scheduled senior game.
The Tyrone SFC final between Trillick and Errigal Ciarán scheduled for 4pm today in Omagh was also postponed due to the weather, as was the Derry hurling final.
The Longford football final replay - Abbeylara against Colmcille - has been called off after an emergency management committee meeting.
The Wicklow SFC final between Baltinglass and Tinahely in Aughrim and the Fermanagh football final, featuring Enniskillen Gaels and Erne Gaels Belleek, have also been postponed until next weekend.
In a statement released on X, Wicklow County Board said the fixture had been called off "due to health and safety concerns regarding the winds forecast during Storm Ashley".
The game will take now place at 3pm next Saturday, 26 October in Echelon Park. The Fermanagh final has been refixed for Sunday, 27 October. No date has been confirmed for the Tyrone and Longford finals.
That brings to seven the number of county finals to fall foul of the weather this weekend, with the Mayo football final and Clare hurling final also postponed due to prospect of high winds.
Storm Ashley is forecast to bring strong winds, which, coupled with high spring tides, may cause coastal flooding.
A Status Orange wind warning for counties Kerry, Clare, Galway, Mayo, Sligo, Leitrim and Donegal will be in effect until 8pm.
Met Éireann said southwest gale force winds of up to 130km/h may also cause power outages and damage to weakened structures.
A separate Status Yellow wind warning is in effect for most of Ireland which will remain in place until 3am tomorrow.
