After 16 seasons as a Limerick senior hurler, Graeme Mulcahy has called time on his inter-county career.
The corner-forward was part of the side that ended a 45-year wait for All-Ireland success in 2018 and went on to win four more Celtic Crosses, as well as seven Munster titles.
The 34-year-old made his senior Treaty debut against Kilkenny in the 2009 Allianz Hurling League. He was a regular in the side for the provincial win against Cork in 2013, a season where he was nominated for an All-Star.
He was recognised with said award in 2018, this after contributing to Limerick's long-awaited Liam MacCarthy success, with a tally of 1-02 in the final against Galway.
For his club Kilmallock, Mulcahy has notched up four county titles and a provincial medal.
"I'd be used to featuring a lot, you can see the likes of Adam English and Shane O'Brien coming to the fore more, Cathal O'Neill as well. A lot of the youth coming through, that constant transition, building as we go.
"You're always looking over your shoulder, it's been like that for as long as I can remember."
Commenting on his retirement, Mulcahy told limerickgaa.ie: "To have been entrusted to represent Limerick by the numerous management teams and sharing the dressing room with all my past and current team-mates has been a great honour. I leave with fantastic memories, lifelong friends and an immense pride in what we have achieved.
"The highlight of my playing career was undoubtedly being apart of the team that ended the 45-year wait to bring the Liam MacCarthy Cup back to Limerick. Coming back to the county with the Cup is something I will treasure forever. I will always be very grateful to John and his management team for allowing me to play a part in that.
"I would like to thank my club Kilmallock GAA, fellow club players, coaches and mentors for their support. I am also extremely grateful to the Kilmallock National School, Kilmallock Utd. and the wider Kilmallock community for your encouragement and guidance from a young age. It has been a privilege to represent the town."
