A late, late 65 from Mark Rodgers sealed a dramatic victory for Clare over Waterford in the Munster Hurling Championship at Cusack Park.
The hosts scored four goals in sun-baked Ennis, but Stephen Bennett's injury-time penalty drew the sides level before Rodgers had the final say in the game as the Banner prevailed 4-21 to 2-26.
The win moves Clare onto four points alongside Limerick with a round to play, while the Deise sit on three points before they entertain the All-Ireland champions next weekend.
