Ireland's Lauren Walsh holds a share of third place at the weather-interrupted Jabra Ladies Open in France.

With second round play suspended initially at 2.55pm for an hour before it was abandoned for the day at 6:08pm due to thunderstorms, Walsh currently sits on three under through 12.

The second round will resume early on Saturday morning and Walsh will be hoping to make up ground on Morgane Metraux of Switzerland, who holds a commanding lead on 11 under, with France's Agathe Sauzon closest to her on six under.

Walsh is one of five golfers on three under. Jana Melichova and Moa Folke finished their rounds, while Chiara Tamburlini and Nastasia Nadaud will be among those back early on Saturday.

Elsewhere, Olivia Mehaffey is on seven over, have completed her second round and signed for a 72.

Second round play resumes at 7.30am on Saturday, with organisers aiming for a 10.45pm start for the third and final round which will be played from two holes.
