Irish sailors Robert Dickson and Sean Waddilove's Olympic medal mission will stretch into Friday after the men's skiff medal race was twice postponed due to lack of wind in Marseille.
The Irish duo are second overall and well placed to contend for a place on the podium.
The medal race is a double points race, with scores added to the 10 qualifying boats' totals. Dickson and Waddilove need a top-four finish to guarantee themselves a medal, but they will have to wait another day to push for it.
The first race was called off just after 2pm as low winds spoiled the action. Organisers desire more than five knots to run the race.
They tried again at around 3.45pm, but conditions just weren't adequate, and the decision was made to push the race back 24 hours.
Eve McMahon got through one of two scheduled races in the women's dinghy event, finishing eighth, while Finn Lynch finished ninth and then 25th in his two men's dinghy races. He lies 16th overall.
