Or latest Tune Of The Week comes from Galway-based singer-songwriter Tom Barry - listen to Passing of Time above.

Produced by Jon O'Connell, the song is a collaboration between Tom and Sean MacUidhlin (SMAC-U), an up-and-coming Galwegian electronic composer and DJ.

About Passing Of Time, Tom says: "It was triggered by a memory of my granny's house in Cork. An old farm house. I used to sleep in an upstairs room beside the stairwell. At the bottom was an old grandfather clock. I distinctly remember the sound of it. From that came a stream of memories of the smell of her fresh brown bread in the mornings that I would lather with butter and Fruitfield Old Time Irish marmalade without the bits. Delicious. To this day it is one of my favourite things to eat with a cup of tea.

"From there I got to thinking about the passing of time. I remember my father crying for the first time in front of me. We were standing on a wet day at the graveside of his mother who had passed, watching the roses falling on to her coffin. I also have fond memories sitting at the fireside in her kitchen with the old fan wheel for raising the fire".
