Commenting on his new role at the NCH, Csibi said: "I am thrilled to be taking up this role at this particular time. I believe very strongly in the power of brilliant symphonic, choral and orchestral music. The future holds exciting adventures for the NCH family, of which the National Symphony Orchestra and National Symphony Chorus are such an important part. I look forward to working with all the dynamic and enthusiastic musicians, artists, singers and teams at the NCH and the broader music and arts community to create world class music experiences for the present and for the future".
Csibi will take up his new position in the autumn.
