Hailing from the village of Holycross, Pat's musical journey began in his early teens when he first discovered nu metal, sparking a passion for music that led him to take up the guitar.
Blink-182 became his primary influence and he played gigs with various bands, a period during which he honed his craft and began writing his music at the age of 17.
Tell us three things about yourself . . .
I auditioned for the You're A Star talent show years ago, I don't use any streaming services as I prefer DVDs still, I've never drank alcohol before!
How would you describe your music?
Pop rock, although most people say my music is very Blink-182 sounding.
Who are your musical inspirations?
Blink-182 are the reason I started writing music. However, I try to take inspiration from other genres of artists like Billy Joel and Peter Gabriel.
What was the first gig you ever went to?
The Corrs in Lansdowne Road!
What was the first record you ever bought?
Can't fully remember but either Five's first album or Ricky Martin's album on cassette, a long time ago!
What’s your favourite song right now?
I'm loving the live version of Edging by Blink-182
Favourite lyric of all time?
A song by Kid Rock has one line I'd choose as my favourite lyric, "So let's roll, pay your toll, get soul, let know, uphold, smoke a bowl like", I'm a big fan of that rhyming word after word. Very cool.
If you could only listen to one song for the rest of your life, what would it be?
In Your Eyes by Peter Gabriel, would listen over and over again
