Person in hospital after Christchurch workplace incident

A man was taken to hospital in a serious condition this morning following a workplace incident in Christchurch.

Emergency services were called to the site at around 8.17am on Branston Street in Hornby South.

Hato Hone St John responded with one ambulance and one operations manager.

"One person has been taken to Christchurch Hospital in a serious condition," St John said.

WorkSafe said it had been notified and was making initial inquiries.
